Datta Seva Samiti successfully ran Balguha at Babhulgaon Taluka, Dist Yavatmal.
Moved by the plight of the orphan and destitute children unloved, uncared for and with no one to call their own, Mr Ramesh Bhanwe founded Bal Sadan in the year 2008 and subsequently few other like-minded public-spirited workers joined him. Bal Sadan was then registered in 2009, under the Women & Child Development department of Maharashtra Govt.
As the donations started trickling in, there was an increase in the number of children. The society moved from a home in the Babhulgaon village into a bigger hired accommodation with slightly better facilities.
we now have our own building in Babhulgaon, Yavatmal that the children, can call their own home. From a humble beginning, Bal Sadan has taken firm roots and is growing with the support of a large, cohesive and enthusiastic team of volunteers. Financial contributions come in from our increasing number of well-wishers. To establish and maintain a “Home” for orphan, destitute and abandoned boys irrespective of their religion, creed and caste. Now there are around 100 children staying there.
