Datta Seva Samiti is a non-profit, non-religious Organization established in 1981, committed to Social, Rural, Cultural, Environmental & Educational development in Maharashtra. Datta Seva Samiti (DSS) was established by Dr Rambhau Kalbande. Doctor saheb as a youth was exposed to the plight of the poor that is when he decided to dedicate his life and resources to the service of the poor. Mr. Ramesh Bhanve joined him in his mission. DSS initiated its work with tree plantation and since then has diversified into several fields of development including Watershed Development, Conservation of Natural Resources, Agriculture, Environment, Women and Child Welfare, Health, Education and Skills Development.
