NIPM Project Picture

Datta Seva Samiti worked in Khandala village, in Ner Taluka. This was an IndoGermen Scheme under NIPM.

Main Objective

  • To strengthen the indigenous resource base, primarily land water and human recourses for increasing land productivity.
  • To generate the ecology by increasing vegetative covers for drought proofing creation of sustainable live hood opportunities for all inhabitants to increase the earning capacity of the community in order to improve their economic status and cease their migration from the village.
  • To increase the availabilities of biomass for consumption and market purpose To ensure year-round availability of employment opportunities and economic avenues’, particularly for women and labour Capacity building of village-level institutions like village watershed committee women development committee and SHGs for implementing the main phase of India germen watershed development program.
